1. The KNOWLEDGE at the level of notion is regulated by:
1.1. STCW Convention Competence Standard A-II/1 – “Specification of minimum standard of competence for officers in charge of a navigational watch on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more”;
1.2. STCW Convention Competence Standard A-II/2 – “Specification of minimum standard of competence for masters and chief mates on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more”.
2. The KNOWLEDGE at the level of understanding is regulated by f:
2.1. STCW Convention Competence Standard A-II/1 – “Specification of minimum standard of competence for officers in charge of a navigational watch on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more”;

3. The KNOWLEDGE at the level of use is regulated by:

The required professional skills of a master are regulated by STCW Convention Competence Standard A-II/1 – “Specification of minimum standard of competence for officers in charge of a navigational watch on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more” and A-II/2 – “Specification of minimum standard of competence for masters and chief mates on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more”.
The COMPETENCES of a master are regulated by STCW Convention Competence Standard A-II/1 – “Specification of minimum standard of competence for officers in charge of a navigational watch on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more” and A-II/2 – “Specification of minimum standard of competence for masters and chief mates on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more”.
